Big House South of Norway on the Coast

Situated at the mainland coast inside Lyngør is this large and luxurious Holiday Home with capacity of up to 14 people. The house is tailored and equipped for the optimal holiday experience for many persons ( for instance 3 – 4 families with children could share, as there are altogether 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with WC, plus a convenient WC for guests inside the house). All bathrooms plus all residential rooms of the main floor have floor heating. Lovely Living Room with fireplace, TV, Video, DVD and CD player, good leather upholstered furniture and direct exit to the 70 square metres of  sunny main terrace, directly connected to nature and with 2400 litre Jacuzzi; lowered into the terrace which is undisturbed and protected from the view of others. A convenient shower and WC room is placed beside the Jacuzzi. Do try the spacious sauna of the house before entering the Jacuzzi! In the Jacuzzi the adults may enjoy the tranquillity with refreshments in 38 degrees water in the Evening sun or with view to the stars above, Living Room 1 floor, with balcony overlooking parts of the Fjord and the Ocean. In the Dining Room there is a dining table with 14 chairs and with direct access to a spacious open and well equipped Kitchen solution with serving desk and all facilities; including coffee machine. The main terrace is also easily available from the dining area for serving of outdoor meals in the warm summer nights. Barbeque meals may be prepared outdoors; using the large Weber charcoal grille. There is a roomy Cooling Room with plenty of space for storing large quantities of food and drink for several families, in addition to the refrigerator in the Kitchen and a large deep freezer for storing ice cream and self caught seafood!

An idyllic and children friendly sandy beach is part of the area. So is the quay area with boat space labelled “Tomt 6” ready for you and which goes with the House.In the beach area and at a separate field close by there are possibilities of football, badminton, sand volley ball and other play for the children. Paths and roads exit from the area with varied opportunities for walks in the forest and fields.

Golf enthusiasts will feel at home at the Nes Verk 18 hole Golf course approximately 35 minutes drive from the house.

Lyngør is an Anglers` Eldorado with Sea Trout, large quantities of Mackerel in the season from July through September and with a good stock of Cod and other species of fish all Year around. You may fish freely from your rented boat or from land at the outer shores towards the Ocean.

The sight of Lyngør was appointed “The best preserved township in Europe” in the European Year of Architecture 1991.  This outport is situated on 4 Islands with waterways as divides. There are beautiful white painted Captain`s houses along the waterfront like in a “mini-Venice”. The houses are from the 18th and 19th Centuries when Lyngør was the port of origin for a large part of Norway`s sailing-ship fleet. Today it is a holiday paradise with indoor and outdoor restaurants at the waterfront during the summer season. Lyngør is a “Must” during your stay and is readily available through the comfort of your rented boat or by ferry from Lyngørfjorden Marina or by Fjord-taxi.
